How to Use Any of This
Loosely. A sun sign is one line of a much longer description, and plenty of people read their entry here and recognise nothing at all. If that is you, the reason is usually your rising sign, which governs how you present rather than how you feel.

Buying for Someone Else
Sign based gifting works better as a starting point than as a rule. Use the element rather than the sign. Fire wants bold, earth wants substantial, air wants layerable, water wants meaningful. That gets you far closer than a birthstone chart will.

Start with your element rather than your sign. Fire signs tend to suit one bold piece worn alone, earth signs suit substantial classic shapes, air signs suit layerable fine chains, and water signs suit pieces with personal meaning or a soft celestial feel.
What crystal goes with my zodiac sign?
Common pairings include carnelian for Aries, rose quartz for Taurus and Libra, tiger's eye for Leo, moonstone for Cancer, black onyx for Scorpio and Capricorn, fluorite for Aquarius and amethyst for Pisces. These are traditional associations rather than fixed rules, so choose the stone whose meaning fits what you want.
Is zodiac jewellery the same as birthstone jewellery?
No. Birthstones are assigned by calendar month and the modern list was standardised commercially in the twentieth century. Zodiac associations follow the sign rather than the month and draw on older astrological tradition, which is why the two lists often disagree.
Can I wear a sign that is not mine?
Yes, and many people do. Wearing a partner's, a child's or a late relative's sign is one of the oldest reasons to wear a symbol at all.
